About this event

Something new for Malahide Castle as six contemporary artists join together in an exhibition within the environs of the medieval castle.

Six contemporary Fingal artists come together at Malahide Castle this autumn in an exhibition exploring memory, history, heritage and the changing role of monuments in contemporary Ireland. Curated by Eamonn Maxwell, the exhibition features sculptures, installations, sound works and graphic pieces throughout the castle.

From 22 September, the programme continues with free special events including a Curator’s Tour & Artist Q&A with Eamonn Maxwell and Deborah Hewson, artist talks and exhibition tours with Ann Ensor, Laura Skehan, Michelle Hall and Susan Buttner, a live performance by Tadhg Kinsella, and a closing night exhibition tour with Cathal Dowd Smith. Advance booking is required for events.
